Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to work within our Talent and Training Function. Their role will be to ensure that employee skills and competencies are aligned to the current and future strategy of the Group. The colleague will be responsible for developing and delivering development interventions that improve organizational performance.

Responsibilities
- Contributes to the identification of Companywide Training Needs through the Annual TNA process.
- Develops, Designs and Delivers programmes appropriate to the Training Needs of the Business
- Utilises a variety of platforms that meet the learning needs of colleagues.
- Researches and recommends potential external service providers as instructed
- Supports new joiner on-boarding and initiation through developing and delivering induction training on a periodic basis.
- Obtains feedback and monitors post training progress of participants to assess effectiveness of training model and makes improvements where necessary.
- Measures the Return on Investment of programmes through effective evaluation and use of HR Management Information.

Requirements

- Bachelor/ Master’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resource Management.
- Accredited Assessor Qualification with a vocational educational body. For Example: City and Guilds, Edexcel, ILM etc - A Units / D32 and D33 equivalents - Essential
- Accredited Quality Assurance Qualification with a vocational assessment body at a Level 4 - Desirable
- Level A and B (Intermediate) Certificates of Competence in Occupational Testing - Desirable
- 3 years of relevant experience in Training & Development or equivalent Experience
- Experience of management development and soft skills training
- Experience of designing and delivering a variety of training solutions
- Experience of partnering with third parties
- A strong communicator, both in writing and spoken communications
- Articulate and confident standing up and delivering to large audiences
