Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

To assist the Marketing Manager in the running of short and long-term marketing communications and promotions, as well as marketing and brand building strategies for the resort, both online and offline to drive measurable growth. Actively monitor, guide and support brand standards implementation, alignment and compliance within the individual businesses.

Pro-actively identify areas that need additional support in terms of online and offline Marketing.

• Assist in the choice of channels to be used for all Marketing activities.
• Optimize Search Engine Marketing (SEM) spending and results with better targeting.
• Supervise posting and monitoring of all Social Media.
• Ensure that offline and online marketing activities are fully integrated.
• Track results on a weekly basis to compute monthly reports and keep track on departmental and individual targets.
• Ensure that online content is accurate and relevant. Also make sure that copy is SEO friendly and update it with the brand Content Management System (CMS).
• Be responsible for the creation of on-standard Electronic Direct Mail (eDM), its tracking as well as its publishing.

• Capability to deliver marketing materials in line with brand standards. (Essential)

• Good understanding of the audience and guest profile catered for. (Essential)
• Market planning and project management skills. (Essential)
• Proficiency in new media, social media and digital marketing. (Desirable)
• Understanding of design programmes such as the Adobe Suite, Dreamweaver & Photoshop. (Desirable)
• Understanding of HTML language. (Desirable)
• Understanding of SEO. (Desirable)
• Strong proficiency on Microsoft Office. (Essential)
