Job description / Role
Our client, a leading organization in the UAE, is currently looking for an Assistant Operations Manager – WBG for their growing operations in Dubai.
As an Assistant Operations Manager, you are expected to handle the following:
- SPOC for all new initiatives (pertaining to UAE/ Regulatory requirements or as part of overall Organizational improvements);
- Review new processes/ changes in existing process which impact WBG;
- Partner with various CBU’s within the WB to drive various efficiency initiatives. Identify opportunities to drive efficiency and improve control framework;
- Manage the projects on-behalf of WB including data clean-up;
- Ongoing review of various controls/ reports to ensure that the processes/ guidelines are adhered;
- Support WB SBMG Operations & Governance in matters as and when required.
Requirements
In order to be qualified for this role, ideal candidate must have at least 7 years of banking/ financial industry experience in recognized regulated market and with experience preferably within the Wholesale Banking Group such as Trade, Cash, Credit and Treasury products. It is also essential that you have product and process understanding for Wholesale Banking in general and with regulatory understanding within the UAE.
