Job description / Role
Ignite Service and Selection are currently looking for an experienced Assistant Product Manager. We are partnering with a global FMCG group in Dubai and we are looking for a product manager with experience in VD category. The Product Manager will develop product strategy, manage product launching, SCM, P&L, price positioning, and so on for the business area managed by SGE. As well as Developing / monitoring / expanding the business in the market as well as supporting the Head of Product Management & Business Head in various aspects of Product Management.
Responsibilities on hand for this particular role:
Product Management
• Product portfolio/mix management, pricing strategy development
• Forecasting and reporting in various aspects of product management (e.g,. sales, inventory, etc)
• Product specification update and maintenance
• Sample management
Marketing & Promotion
• UAE, GCC countries sales promotion development
• Marketing strategy, product positioning and defining target market
• Product launch management including LLP (local launching plan) development, and target launch date
Reporting & Analysis
• Goal and KPI management for business and product marketing
• SCM forecasting, preparation of Sub/RHQ/HQ reporting
• P&L management, market assessment
• Full P&L ownership, trend analysis, competitive landscape, monitoring roadmap
Requirements
Candidate requirements
• Be able to demonstrate a high level of multitasking efficiency & priority setting
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret data studies
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, distributors
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate marketing initiative
• Ability to work under minimum supervision
• Initiative and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
Qualifications
• Must hold a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management role
Experience: (describe what experience this position will require the job holder to have obtained in past roles within or outside of SGE that would demonstrate a level of proficiency in the stated role)
• Understanding of the Consumer Electronics market dynamics and technology
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to effectively present information to top management, public group and or client
• Computer literate and advanced user of MS office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
