Position Overview:
Jouzy Consulting Engineers is seeking a proficient Project Manager for Wet Utilities. This role entails leading infrastructure design development and managing the delivery of wet utilities projects.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the overall project approaches and design strategies, aligning with the client's objectives and ensuring their expectations are consistently met.
• Manage scope development and oversee the tendering process for procuring sub-consultants and third-party reviewers.
• Provide direction on design aspects related to infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, tunnels, and utilities. Devise design management and delivery strategies in coordination with the Project Manager to ensure technical excellence and timely completion.
• Offer technical solutions and expertise as required, promoting technical excellence through the application of quality assurance processes.
• Prepare, execute, monitor, and control design management plans, maintaining knowledge of drawings, specifications, contracts, and schedules.
• Express awareness of local authorities' requirements, ensuring compliance and efficient acquisition of necessary approvals.
• Maintain high-level liaison with clients and their representatives, establishing and chairing meetings to review project status.
• Manage and coordinate the design delivery across various disciplines, ensuring consistency with the project vision, design criteria, and client expectations.
• Work with the Program Director and Project Manager to develop project budgets, schedules, and plans.
• Mentor and lead subordinates, fostering career development and performance improvement.
• Monitor the quality and progress of project disciplines, ensuring compliance with production requirements and resolving any issues in collaboration with Project Managers.

Requirements

Requirement:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of related field engineering experience, including at least 5 years in the Middle East.
• Experience in master planning and delivering infrastructure projects, particularly in wet utilities.
• Proficiency in hydraulic modeling and familiarity with relevant software.
• Knowledge of load demand calculations, local and international regulations (DEWA, ADDC/ADWEA/TRANSCO, DM, ADM, DCD, ADCD, etc.), and relevant British and American codes.
• Experience in liaising with local authorities for NOCs and design approvals.
• Professional registration may be required.
• Excellent supervisory, communication skills, and thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations.
• Proficiency in current technology and engineering software applications.
