Assistant Project Manager - Sharjah (Water projects)
This position is focused on the leadership and management of projects and programs for CH2M’s clients. Projects and programs are aligned to the strategic markets and underlying business objectives of the firm.
This is an entry level position in the Project Management career path. As project manager on a larger project, works under the direction and mentorship of the assigned project manager.
As the project manager of a small project, works closely with BG project delivery leadership or other senior project managers/operations leaders who provide oversight and mentoring. Manages the project team through all phases of project planning, execution, and closeout, consistent with established project delivery processes to the meet the scope, schedule, budget and other specified requirements stated in the contract.
Completes the scope of work to the satisfaction of the client, while simultaneously ensuring that CH2M’s HS&E, quality, financial, risk management; business and policy expectations are met. May provide support to BD activities leading up to the award of the project.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in applicable discipline preferably mechanical or equivalent experience. 4 years progressively responsible experience in managing projects preferred. Experience with the local Water Industry Clients required. Experience in the delivery of Sewage Treatment Plant, Pumping Station projects required. CAPM or equivalent preferred.
