Assistant Relationship Manager - Airspace Security AS - ETOS: Deputy Manager.

Our client is now recruiting for an Assistant Relationship Manager- Airspace Security AS- ETOS: Deputy Manager. You will be directly reporting to the Manager - Airspace Security EAS (Management)- ETOS: Manager.
Required Background: Military, Police Security or Defence (candidates coming from this background will be considered for the role.)

Job Purpose

The Security Department at the event is mandated to prepare, deliver and ensure that the appropriate security solution is in place at all phases of the programme including Construction, Event Delivery and legacy through a guest focused, risk-based approach that sets out to provide best-in-class security.

The Airspace Security(AS) function is to secure the occupation of the event Airspace through integration with internal and external stakeholders, providing policies and procedures, restrictions and authorized permits for all requested Airspace activities at the event

Airspace will include but will not be limited to de-conflicting operations of drones, helicopters, falcons, fireworks, kites, balloons, lasers, light shows etc.

The role of the Assistant Relationship Manager (Internal/External) ( Deputy Manager )– Airspace Security (AS) is to provide administrative support and coordination including System Management against functional activities against goals and objectives for both prevent and event phases.

Core Accountabilities

Operational Responsibilities:
• Assist the Manager- AS ( Deputy Manager )to administrate and coordinate activities of the AS function on a day to day basis, ensuring the efficient delivery of service including maintaining high rapport relationship with Internal and External stakeholders
• Maintain AS management system coordination and data entry
• Support the coordination of Heliport venue management
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, plans and report to keep up to dates records on deliverables for both pre-event and event phases.
• Coordinate day to day tasks, such as administration activities to support functional requirements
• Provide project status on deliverables to the manager – AS, ensuring alignment and with business requirements.
• Support the Manager - AS , ensure effective integration with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Handle issues and rectify where appropriate and within the role scope.
• Escalate for appropriate action to the line where needed.
• Support in the Translation of documents and paperwork from Arabic to English (and vice versa) as part of a wider unified plan between event
• Security and relevant authorities or business partners.
• Research on topics relevant to the functional requirements and present reports on findings, including Presentations where required
• Deliver on any other duties requested by the line manager from time to time to meet business requirements.
• Airspace permits support
• System administrators and Data Custodian
• Support airspace requests management systematically
• Keep up to date on AS E-portal for daily activities, ad-hoc, incident reports and statistics and users' activities
• Overall AS support

Requirements

Knowledge, Qualifications & Skills required

Essential (must have to perform the role)
• Educated to Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Relations or other relevant discipline.
• 2- 3 years’ work experience
• Understanding of project management principles and planning.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral in Arabic and English
• Strong Planning and Organization skills.
• Demonstrated Research skills
• IT literate, in particular with Excel, and its formulas
