Associate/Assistant Professor In Economics Up To 23k Aed+ For A Leading University In Sharjah

- POSITION: Associate/Assistant Professor in Economics
- SALARY: up to 23,000 AED depending on qualifications and experience plus accommodation, transportation, air ticket and other benefits
- HIRING COMPANY: Premier university in Sharjah established since 1990
- LOCATION: Sharjah, UAE
- START DATE: Spring, January 2020
- EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full Time - Four Years Contract (Renewable)

CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Open for CIS, Western and Arab National
- Male/Female, 55 years old and below

Requirements

- PhD in Economics
- Minimum 10 years of teaching experience in the same field, post PHD degree
- Must have academic background in the field of Economics with combination of teaching & industry experience in the field of specialization
- Experience in teaching courses like: Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, etc.
- Strong record of Research and Publications (Mainly in Scopus, ABDC etc.)
- Minimum 3 publications and 2 conference presentations
- Experience of developing course materials and teaching resources
- Ability to develop rapport with students in a variety of learning contexts
- Extensive experience of working with diverse range of students
- Can work independently and as a part of a team
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Willing to work in split shift
- Open to overseas candidates willing to relocate in UAE
