Associate Director - Compliance (AML, KYC, Sanctions)

Job description / Role

- Work with the Compliance Team leader to ensure full AML/KYC/Sanctions across all relevant areas of responsibility keeping abreast of any new developments and updating and advising the business on those developments
- Implement best compliance practices and Sanctions Compliance Risk initiatives and review and update policy and procedures to accommodate changes and ensure staff compliance therewith
- Actively participate in looking at new Sanctions of designated names of corporations or individual\'s to find connected parties
- Continually look to improve and re-engineer process and systems
- Review and analyse sanctions data over a period of time to identify changes in behavior for further review.
- Work with the list of customers with sanctions connections to consider additional controls relating to their payments
- Assess the sanctions risk with new target markets, countries and products.

Requirements

- A minimum of 5 year’s experience within a Corporate Banking environment.
- Preferably with Middle East exposure.
- Degree Educated, from a reputable establishment.

- Sanctions
