Associate Director, Middle East and Africa (MEA)

As the Associate Director MEA, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the strategic vision for the region. You will be at the forefront of driving market expansion, establishing, maintaining, and optimising relationships with strong partners.

The client is a global medical device company that specialises in providing a broad range of medical products.

Description

* Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies to achieve revenue and market share growth in the MEA region. Provide direction and oversight for all business operations, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
* Identify and capitalize on market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities, working closely with the Head of Marketing responsible for the area.
* Support to build business models for the region and implement the strategies and plans, roll out related activities, projects, and implementation.
* Manage all Distributors which include business relationship, performance, executive reviews, and market strategy. Cultivate and manage key customer relationships, including partnerships with healthcare institutions, distributors, and key opinion leaders.
* Drive business development initiatives to explore new markets, product lines, and collaborations.
* Screen, evaluate, recruit and on-board new distributors to support and enlarge the sales revenue.
* Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship. Coordinate with partners to identify new business opportunities for revenue generation.
* Follow up on Channel development opportunities and connect with KOLs to gather periodic feedback on channel performance.
* Review secondary data with integrity from channel distributors to validate channel sell-out and inventory information.
* Support Business partner product and local authority certification tracking.
* Design Incentive programs based on the channel transformation needs. Provide tracking support to the channel/sales operations team for the execution of Incentive programs.

Act as an expert for the organization in orchestrating multichannel strategies to maximize the channel business results.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree or above in Business/Engineering/Medical subjects. Holding an MBA is a plus.
* Minimum 10+ years of Sales and Distributors Management experience in the Medical Device industry, especially in Indirect Market setting
* Track record in the Medical Devices Industry.
* Excellent level of English, both spoken and written, any additional regional language is an asset.
