Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a long-standing, reputable Landscape and Urban engineering consultancy, who have been responsible for the design and execution of some of the UAE’s most notable Landscape projects.
As a result of their continued growth in the UAE & KSA, our client is looking to hire an Associate Landscape Architect, who will lead their satellite office in Dubai, overseeing the design and delivery of a small team of Landscape Architects.
The role will also be key to the growth of the consultancy’s expanding footprint in Riyadh, KSA.
This role will be responsible for developing the Landscape Sector in UAE and Saudi Arabia, prequalifying the business with major clients, whilst offering strong technical support and business leadership.
The Associate Landscape Architect will independently manage all aspects of multiple complex projects simultaneously, including managing client expectations, maintaining project programs and budgets, leading project teams, and driving design excellence.
Working in close cooperation with the Senior Management team based in Abu Dhabi, the main purpose of this position will be to build the business’s market share in Dubai and KSA, as well as source opportunities with leading Real Estate Developers, Architects, and Government Departments.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, the candidate should have a minimum of 12-15 years of professional experience and must come from a Landscape or Urban Design Consultancy within the UAE or GCC.
The candidate should possess a demonstrable track record of Managing Landscape Design teams, on multiple complex projects. Excellent client-facing experience with Real Estate Developers and/or Government entities is also essential for this role.
The successful candidate will hold a Landscape Architectural degree from an internationally recognized University and have affiliation with professional membership.
