Job description / Role
Client is a leading PR and communications agency is looking for talented individuals to join their expanding team.
As part of the client-handling team, the candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing client accounts on day-to-day basis
- Producing high quality client account ‘essentials’ in both languages
- Preparing for, organizing and handling announcement days and client events from A to Z
- Giving intelligent advice, based on a good knowledge of the client and of the sector
- Establishing a strong network of media contacts
- Developing and managing media programs / communications plans
- Placing stories with trade, national and international press
- Carrying out sector analysis work and monitoring sector news
Requirements
- Experience in communications either from an advisory role or in-house within a reputable company.
- Ability to communicate fluently and effectively (both written and spoken) in Arabic and English.
- Ability to produce high quality client account ‘essentials’ (key messages, Q&A’s, press releases, internal communications, speeches, etc.) as well as provide strategic advisory through communications strategies, campaigns and plans.
- Required to show an understanding of a wide range of business and financial topics, and to represent the company in front of clients on a regular basis.
- Ability to build media relations and strategic thinking
