Job Description
* Along with the Senior Manager Assurance, works with individual Programme Directors and Programme/Project Managers to ensure that United Arab Emirates (UAE) RRP programmes, projects and streams are established and operating in accordance with the UAE RRP standards as documented in the Programme Management Plan (PMP).
* Coordinates/executes the implenetation of programme assurance, validation and Quality Assurance (QA) process, and operational risk processes across the UAE RRP
* Coordinates regular review and challenge to ensure that all workstreams, projects and streams are appropriately assessing, documenting and reporting/escalating all issues, risks, gaps or exceptions (such as change control items, completion of deliverables).
* Production of Assurance, validation and QA process and other reporting/Management information Systems (MIS) across the UAE RRP.
* Coordination of change management responsibilities across the UAE RRP programmes and provides oversight of the change control log/checks the process is in alignment with the PMP.
* Management of the Programme Assurance working group/forum, supporting the Senior Manager Assurance RRP.
* Oversight of correct reporting & escalation of risks and issues across the UAE RRP, working with the UAE RRP Project Management Office (PMO) .
* Functional Operational Risk Manager (FORM) for the UAE RRP:
* Assist the Senior Manager Assurance RRP and Head RRP in in governance oversight over Operational Risk management from an end to end basis;
* Assist the Senior Manager Assurance RRP and Head RRP in the UAE RRP in driving effective implementation of the Operational Risk Framework (ORF);
* Ensure the accuracy, timeliness and appropriate escalation of Operational Risk management information and loss reporting;
* Responsible Person (RP) for the UAE RRP: To undertake periodic self-assessment on key controls/heakth checks to assess the adequacy of existing controls.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
* Implements programme assurance processes, coordinating all programmes, projects and streams within the UAE RRP are operating in accordance with the standards contained in the PMP - with all appropriate documentation, tracking and reporting produced, approved and maintained up to date, challenging programme management practices as applicable.
* Participation in Working Group and Steering Committee meetings in scope of the assurance role, as an invitee on a monthly basis as agreed with the Senior Manager Assurance RRP, ensuring these are effective in terms of driving deliverables and mitigating risks and issues.
* Complete testing in line with the Program Assurance frame workd, development and maintenance of MIS and reporting on Programme Assurance, QA & validation across program, operational risk/BORM matters as required.
* Coordination of a monthly review group with all individual Programme Directors and Project Managers (where required), to discuss overall themes in Assurance and risks/issues.

Requirements

* At least 3-5 years experience in Operational Risk, Audit experience
* Hands-on experience in running regulatory projects and good grasp of Operational Risk Management methodologies would be an asset
* Knowledge on Sanctions / Anti money laundry (AML) preferred
* Excellent Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint skills
* Proven track record in working with complexity and in a matrix organisation, with excellent ability to create a network
* Ability to drive multiple agenda
* Strong communication skills, both spoken and written
* Strong interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills
* Flexible and responsive in order to handle changing priorities
