Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

You will work as part of a team providing audit and audit related services across the Energy sector. This will involve the provision of services to a portfolio of audit clients, covering both internal and external audit clients. Tasks will include managing the staffing of the job, the financial performance and ensuring that key deadlines are achieved.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Performing the planning sections of audits.
- The audit of all the file’s areas. Attending internal and external team and client meetings.
- Provide an on-site co-ordination role for audit clients including planning, day to day control of the audit team, liaising with clients and completing audit assignments.
- Completion steps.
- Manage the job time in efficient way.
- Perform the required work with the required quality (PwC methodology).
- Take the right decisions when needed.
- Act as a Development Team Manager to teams of Associates Tutor one of PwC’s many training courses. Work and liaise with other members of the audit team and colleagues in other parts of the firm as necessary to provide high quality clients service.
- Champion business unit initiatives ranging from technology to learning and development.
- Coach and train less experienced team members.
- Seek for more challenging tasks and have supervisory responsibility for a team of your peers.

Requirements

- ACA / ACCA / CPA qualification or international equivalent with broad ranging audit experience including planning, controlling and completing a diverse range of assignments.
- A proactive approach to problem solving and delivering client solutions. It is essential that candidates have experience of working on audits within a financial services client base.
- Audit management experience within the Financial Services industry.
- You will have experience of interacting with senior level clients and management to develop and maintain business relationships, principally in the areas of Investment and fund management, Insurance and banking services.
- Effective communication skills when working at all levels with well-developed listening and questioning techniques with colleagues and clients at all levels.
- A proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and flexibility in your approach to meeting goals as part of the team.
- A proactive approach to problem solving and delivering client solutions.
- A demonstrated ability to take responsibility and use initiative, especially when working to tight deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously without direct day to day management. Desire for continuous self-improvement and experience of management of the audit from planning to supervision and review of the process.
- Experience in supervising and developing staff.
- Knowledge of IAS and IFRS.
