Autocad Draftsman - Swimming Pools

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD Draftsman specializing in swimming pool design to join our team. As an AutoCAD Draftsman, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans for swimming pool projects using AutoCAD software. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in drafting and designing swimming pools.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand the requirements and specifications of swimming pool projects.
• Create accurate and detailed 2D and 3D drawings of swimming pool designs using AutoCAD software.
• Develop technical plans, sections, elevations, and construction details for swimming pool projects.
• Incorporate design elements, such as water features, lighting, decking, and landscaping into the swimming pool plans.
• Ensure that designs comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Revise and modify drawings based on feedback and change requests from project stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of design changes, revisions, and versions.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to prepare material and equipment lists required for swimming pool construction.
• Collaborate with construction teams to provide support and clarification during the construction phase.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in swimming pool design and construction.

Salary:
AED 5,000 to 6,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an AutoCAD Draftsman, specifically in swimming pool design.
• Proficiency in using AutoCAD software for 2D and 3D modeling and drafting.
• Strong understanding of swimming pool design principles, construction techniques, and materials.
• Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards related to swimming pool design.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to create accurate and precise drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with other design software is a plus.
• A degree or diploma in drafting, architecture, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Relevant experience with authority approvals.
