Job description / Role
We are looking to recruit an experienced Divisional Manager to oversee the AutoEquip team wiithin Al Futtaim Auto Centres (ALAC). The main purpose of the role is to provide full back-up support to all ALAC customers and have an established network of service, equipment and parts centres throughout the UAE. The principle objective of this role will be to achieve and exceed customer satisfaction indices, achieve and exceed revenue and gross margin budgets and to closely liaise with visiting Principals.
Reporting to the GM - Bodyshop and AutoEquip, you will be responsible for ensuring the set-up of proper supply chain management practices for all workshop equipment and tools; overseeing the maintenance of the workshop and ensuring all tools are serviced and stored appropriately as per safety standards so as to provide continuous support to customers.
Requirements
- Graduate Mechanical / Automobile Engineer, with 8 to 10 years of post-qualification experience in managing a workshop (industrial equipment / earth moving equipment).
- Significant mechanical engineering experience
- Strong Project Management skills, with the ability to implement change and new initiatives
- Knowledge of MS Office applications, and computer aided diagnostics. Sap awareness is an added advantage
