Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Troubleshooting skills on technical equipment used for events; including: sound, lighting, rigging, Staging, electrical, audio-visual, video, and other related system
- Maintain a professional attitude and conduct at all times.
- Setup, operate, and strike technical equipment for events.
- Assist in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of technical systems and equipment.
- The Sound & Lighting Technician regularly works long, irregular hours; up to 20 hours straight.
- The Sound & Lighting Technician frequently works in high, precarious places; up to 60 feet above ground on an open grid System, on scaffolding, and in motorized personnel lifts.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work with a variety of people.
- Basic understanding of sound and electronic systems; including components and signal flow.
- Basic understanding of electricity and lighting systems; including electrical theory and safety.
- Basic understanding of staging and rigging principles; including safety procedures.
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision through the completion of an assigned event or project.

Requirements

- Electronics and Communications Engineering Graduate (ECE) or any related technical course.
- Minimum 3 year experience in an event related field (i.e. technical theater, music production, sound reinforcement, Studio.
- Experience in Analog and digital lighting and PA system consoles
