Faithful+Gould, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Atkins Group - the design and engineering company with 18,000 employees, has access to 2,300 consultants worldwide, of whom 450 are located in the Middle East across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Oman and Saudi Arabia.

There is a requirement for a Bid Coordinator due to the growth targets of the business, the step change in the amount of proposals now being managed and submitted to clients, in addition to the increasing amount of marketing being undertaken to promote the brand.

The Bid Coordinator will be based in our head office in Dubai and will support Faithful+Gould’s Bid Manager.

The role will suit an individual with broad project management and administrative experience with the capabilities to:
- Support large / small bids and projects
- Manage bid support systems
- Manage the library of relevant bid information.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Preparation responses to EOIs, prequalification and RFP proposals.
- Administrative support to Bid and Project Managers / Directors.
- Support to Bid Managers / Directors in corporate procedures (liaison with corporate group: legal, tax and financial)
- Maintain project profiles for all current and past projects to be used in proposals.
- Develop and maintain marketing and bidding materials.
- Assist with gathering market research.

Experience of working on bids is preferable as are candidates with some commercial experience within a consulting environment. The candidate will be required to be flexible, be able to work to deadlines and have good interpersonal skills to provide a wide variety of roles within the team.

There will also be occasional travel within the GCC, namely in the UAE, Qatar and occasionally KSA.

Strong communication and project management/ organisational skills are essential.

Requirements

- Graduate with previous experience in a similar role.
- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to communicate efficiently and confidently
- Excellent command of written English with copy accuracy.
- Ability to use own initiative whilst working to tight deadlines in a demanding environment.
- Strong client / team interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal clients and colleagues alike
- Strong change control skills and experience of preparing submissions
- Strong interpersonal skills - ability to liaise with people at all levels.
- Well organised and self motivated.
- Advanced administration skills.
- Proven IT skills in particular, Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of InDesign and/or Photoshop would be advantageous.
- Strong project management skills – ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively
- Broad commercial appreciation
