Role: Blaster/Painter
Vacancies: 15
Contract Duration: 3 months
Job Location: Abu Dhabi
Job Purpose:
• To perform spray painting activities in accordance with & under the supervision of painting/ L3 supervisor.
• To perform spray painting projects in accordance with DMES & Project requirement.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare surfaces before abrading actions.
• Mask off detectors, vents, sensors, fiber structures and other surfaces which no need to paint.
• Use ladders etc. to reach high areas.
• Blast steel structures and tanks using blasting method.
• Follow safety precautions for the blasting.
• Measure and calculate materials needed and appropriate quantities.
• Ensure compliance to environment, health and safety at all times.
Requirements
Ideal candidate will have :
• Valid Blasting Certificate,
• Verbal communication in English.
• Minimum 2-3 years of previous experience.
• Good knowledge of paint mixing techniques, and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent hand – eye coordination.
• Hard-wearing coatings that exactly match the colors and finishes requested.
• Ability to select equipment correctly.
• Ability to inspect the equipment.
