Our client is an international transport company based in Europe is specialized in three distinct areas of road transport : Air, Secure and General Cargo. Due to the continued expansion of our activity in Dubai, they are looking to hire a Branch Manager for their Dubai office
Job Description
- The Branch Manager is responsible for the daily operational and administrative work including strategic planning activities especially all concerns transport operation as well as sales & marketing. The main responsibilities are:
1) Monitor and oversee all operational functions to ensure smooth daily operation of the whole site
2) Ensure that all activities are performed in compliance with related laws governing business operations
3) Manage to increase the number of potential customers while developing and securing profitable relationship with existing ones
4) Motivate, influence and control the turnover and productivity
5) Oversee risk management and legal activities under supervision of the Management
Requirements
Interested candidates must be:-
• Fluent in Arabic and English
• At least 5 years relevant experience in a similar position
• Good knowledge of the transport industry, preferably in air cargo and its handling
• Good interpersonal, diplomatic and analytical skills
• Team player, hands-on and can-do mentality
• Flexibility and willingness to travel
