Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Brand Manager will be responsible for the development, execution, and evaluation of promotions and activations of current brands & new product launches/innovations.The responsibilities of the BM span across on trade & retail channels across the region. The main objective of the role is building the brands in the given category to drive company revenue & maximize its profitability.

The Brand Manager ensures effective brand development through:
• In depth understanding of the brand plans and their key must win battles
• A clear understanding of regional markets and customer/consumer drivers
• An integrated approach between brand, channel, customer & consumer
• Strong stakeholder management internally as well as externally with distributors, partners & agencies
• Creative development of promotions & activation that best achieve brand jobs to be done
• Perfect execution of planned and approved activities
• Evaluation of promotional activities with a view to continuously improve ROI
• Strong team work capability as brand manager, working closely with brand principals, global teams, trade marketing and sales

Specifically, the brand manager is responsible for:
• The development and execution of annual and long term strategic brand plans
• The development, execution and evaluation of promotions and activation related to the brand plan
• New product launches/innovations which fall under super premium category
• Social media/digital strategy development and execution
• Brand principal relationship management
• A&P budget management
• Creation of quarterly brand health and performance reports for management and brand principals

Requirements

Graduate in Marketing with experience in planning and executing brand activation, consumer engagements, and on-trade/retail channel promotions. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in FMCG and/or hospitality.

• Knowledge and skills in brand management
• Skills in brand positioning and consumer segmentation
• Experience in developing and evaluating channel promotions
• Negotiation skills & capability in managing stakeholders
• Experience in managing marketing budgets
• Capability in leading executions even under imperfect conditions
• Strong in data analysis skills & abilities in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
