Introduction

The Turbonomic Brand Sales Specialist will be directly responsible for driving client-facing sales and client engagement activities to accelerate the adoption and deployment of Turbonomic offerings for their assigned territory/accounts. Application Resource Management is one of the key focus topics in IBM's Automation Portfolio and represents a critical part in the area of AIOps solutions.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Brand Sales Specialist you play an essential role in accelerating IBM Technology Portfolio successful in the market. We want you to specifically drive the success of Turbonomic Application Resource Management as an integrated part of the IBM Automation Solutions. As part of an agile and enthusiastic team you take over the following responsibilities:

- Generate demand, qualify and progress client opportunities, and negotiate pricing and contracts
- Serve as the Turbonomic sales expert to drive the strategy, sale, and closure of Turbonomic offerings and use cases
- Develop and maintain relationships with the highest levels of customer management across executive, line of business, and IT
- Maintain and orchestrate account specific plans and strategies
- Work with prospects and customers to prove the value of the Turbonomic solutions and its relation to the AIOps set of technologies
- Achieve assigned revenue and signings goals for Turbonomic products for assigned territory/accounts
- Provide timely and accurate pipeline and forecast updates
- Work collaboratively in a highly matrixed environment across IBM
- Maintain contemporary technology skills and offering knowledge in relation to application resource management and/or network performance management and adjacent technologies
- Developing Eco-system partners sales readiness of Turbonomic solutions around MEA
- Work closely with Turbonomic specialized Eco-system partners to ensure their skills are up to date
- Responsible for the sales team product skills, and help them develop their territory plans

Requirements

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

- 7+ years selling enterprise software solutions
- Proven track record of consistently achieving quota as a seller
- Demonstrated understanding of technical concepts regarding applications, infrastructure, cloud, data center and virtualization and how they solve customer pains
- Exceptional communication, presentation and consultative skills
- Ability to map an organization from C-level to data center
- Exceptional communication, presentation and consultative skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

- Knowledge of adjacent IBM technologies including IBM CloudPak for Watson AIOps
- Knowledge of cloud-native technologies and hybrid cloud architectures
- Application performance management
- Knowledge of application centric IT Operations
