Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The role is responsible for financial performance management . The Individual supports operational decision making by providing Management Information, Forecasts and Budgets. This position is also responsible for the financial analysis for short and long term planning.

This position will maintain a system of financial management controls that ensures the company's Budgets/Forecasts are prepared in line with approved policy regarding the deadlines and the management of the budgeting process.

Business Insights & Support
- Provide efficient and effective financial performance management support to enable timely and accurate decision making.
- Provide assistance and support for a variety of ad hoc initiatives, including financial systems improvements, process enhancements, and the like.
- nsure that budgeting and financial planning is in line with the long terms strategic plan of the company
- Preparing the appropriate templates to prepare the budget by all concerned departments.

Financial Control & Stewardship
- Implement and maintain reporting control processes
- Report weaknesses in the internal control system, identify improvements, and accordingly recommend preventive/corrective procedures.
- Communicate and resolve all reporting issues
- Preparing detailed reports pertaining to discrepancies & amendments that occurred in the budget, during the entire financial year. This will be done in coordination with the concerned managers of the departments.

Financial Reporting and Transaction Processing
- Comply with the approved policy of budgeting regarding the deadlines and the management of the budgeting process.
- Receiving the budget estimates from all departments of the organization and critically examines them for correctness, accuracy and completeness; and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives
- Studying the previous budget and also taking into consideration the benefits and losses occurred during the previous financial years, due to budget planning. Suggesting suitable amendments in the budget to the higher management.
- Implement, document, maintain and review including proper analytical review of the operating results to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial results are produced that reflect the true financial condition of operating assets, developments, and cost centers
- Assist in projecting future financial needs, taking into considerations the various operations and projects undertaken by the organizations with the overall goal of efficient management of financial resources.
- Review transaction processing processes to ensure best practice and speed to reporting is maintained.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Finance as a minimum, professional Accounting/Finance qualification will be a big plus
- Minimum 10 years post qualification experience
- 5 years in a similar role focused on Budgeting & Planning is absolute must have!
- Real Estate industry experience is highly desirable

This role requires financial and accountancy knowledge along with strong knowledge of processes and value drivers within a real estate development / asset management organization.

Experience in working with Oracle e-Business Suite , HFM and Hyperion Budgeting and Planning.
