Employment: Full Time

The Business Applications Manager supervises and maintains the organization’s repository of software applications through best practices and the appropriate management of a technical team. The Business Application Manager has complete understanding of all applications used within the company and its architecture.

- Evaluate, install, configure, Design and deploy new applications, systems software, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the enterprise.
- Ensure that applications meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfil end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues.
- Collaborate with analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of new software programs and applications.
- Plan and coordinate the processes required for the provision of user applications and systems necessary for business operations.
- Contribute to pre-testing phase of development by evaluating proposals in order to identify potential problem areas, and make the appropriate recommendations.
- Review and analyze existing applications’ effectiveness and efficiency, and then develop strategies for improving or leveraging these systems.
- Design, develop, and install application enhancements and upgrades.
- Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of application-usage best practices.
- Provide forward-looking vision when designing solutions to maintain flexibility, good exception management and future integration opportunities.
- Provide consulting support on processes and systems issues and the review, acquisition, and implementation of new application.
- Undertake project management task for system migration of data.
- Manage and ensure that all systems are integrated & interoperable, the operational configuration changes and updates are supported and implemented into the system timely, accurately and as per the specifications.

Applications security and maintenance:
- Provide day-to-day troubleshooting of user and applications.
- Contribute and actively participate in Risk Management process.
- Plan, design and test Disaster Recovery Procedure for Business Application Systems to support business continuity, minimize risk and lost when needed.
- Help to identify operational inefficiencies, conflicting business practices and integration issues.
- Manage and schedule system preventive maintenance
- Manage and ensure all the disputed cases are solved within x working days with standard and proper method to guarantee accurate results

Administration and documentation:
- Analyze documentation and technical specifications of any new application under deployment or consideration to determine its intended functionality.
- Develop and communicate training and documentation for end users.
- Document system functions and processes for the Business Applications group and selected items for end users
- Manage and provide direction for the application team in support of business operations.
- Guide and assist the user group on issues related to the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical information and software systems.
- Develop, distribute, and coordinate in-depth end-user reviews for modified and new systems or applications.
- Coordinate department budget and business plan.

Requirements

- 5 – 7 years’ Experience as Business Application Manager
- Oracle Financial Expert & Oracle EBS
- Oracle Implementation Projects Achievements
- BI Qlikview Implementation or knowledge
- WMS Infor Implementation or Support
- Supply Chain & FMCG environment & exposure
