Employment: Full Time

The Business Associate is responsible for helping drive the strategic planning process which includes identifying high-opportunity markets and segments and assist in developing and synthesizing input across all business units. This requires a thorough assessment of customer and market requirements, new and existing technologies, current strategies, branding and/or licensing opportunities. This individual must be able to analyze long-term market trends, customer needs, and evaluate competitive landscapes in order to develop a business strategy that ensures Honeywell’s long-term success.

Responsibilities:
- Support the development of the Strategic Plan for different market In High Growth regions in coordination with the ACS Country Marketing leaders
- Contribute information and ideas to the strategy formulation process and to the production of marketing plans and budgets (e.g. internal and external best practices, growth trends identification)
- Support the development of market-entry / market-growth strategies (e.g. macro-economic, micro-economic and geopolitical research, deep-dives across relevant industries, baseline and competitive assessments, recommendations formulation, financial modeling)
- Review holistic partnership strategies and propose recommendations to fill gaps in the business and operating models
- Support businesses in defining partnership agreements and striking strategic alliances
- Identify M&A targets that can help fill gaps and enhance Honeywell’s business models and go-to-market approaches (e.g. product and solution gaps, market reach, delivery capabilities)
- Assess continuously both internal and external opportunities
- Develop solid and fact-based business cases
- Design and drive the end-to-end implementation of special strategic projects in collaboration with the different business units
- Design and execute impactful market research studies; formulate conclusions and actionable recommendations for the business
- Support and demonstrate leadership in the information gathering process
- Provide analysis support to the business units and clearly communicate the findings and implications

Requirements

- An undergraduate degree in a quantitative field (e.g. economics, finance, math, engineering, etc…) is required
- 2-3 years experience in management consulting (top-tier consulting firm is preferred)
- English is essential
- Strong problem solving ability; rigorous and resourceful with a pragmatic approach - applying 80-20 rule and coming up with a sound logic to help navigate through complex landscapes
- Experience in conducting thorough market research and synthesizing meaningful insights
- Experience in assessing and refining the portfolio of products & solutions (incl. new product design & launch, pricing)
- Identifying and understanding market and technology trends and linking them to business strategies
- Good understanding of microeconomics and financial concepts and linking them to business strategy
- Strong financial modeling and end-to-end strategy document development skills
- Ability to work effectively with senior-level executives
- Strong interpersonal skills, maturity and good judgment and capable of communicating with a diverse range of individuals
