Job description / Role
A multinational freight forwarder are looking for a Business Developer to join them in expanding their multi-modal freight business in Dubai.
As a Business Developer, you will generate business by selling all freight products (LCL, FCL, air, sea, road and 3PL). Having a minimum of 3 years of UAE experience, you must hold a valid UAE drivers license.
Achieve sales targets as set by the management. Selling and marketing of divisions services. Generate, quote & follow up on the inquiries received (both Sea & Air Freight ). Preparing professional presentations to clients. Negotiate with the accounts as per price guidelines given, looking to maximize profits. Follow up on customer communications in a timely and professional manner. Assimilate market information and take part in the overall business development through weekly / monthly sales meetings. To source alternate agents for being competitive.
Requirements
- Having a Bachelors degree in any discipline.
- Experienced in freight and logistics, with an active and transferable client database.
- Must hold a driver's license.
- Be well-versed in Air, Sea and Road freight terminologies.
