Business Development Assistant - Dubai

An established, magic circle law firm is seeking a BD assistant to join the busy BD and Marketing team in Dubai. The team cover a range of BD, Marketing and Client Relationship Management responsibilities across four offices in the UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and BD, the successful candidate will be comfortable at working in a fast-paced, demanding environment and possess the skills to interact with senior decision makers.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
* Responsible for the tender production process from start to finish using the firm's databases
* Provide support to the team in connection with the Middle East CRM Programme
* Act as first port of call for incoming enquiries
* Proactively gather marketing knowledge and input into various databases
* Co-ordinate and draft submissions for legal directories
* Prepare and circulate weekly BD Update as and when appropriate to cover leave
* Assist with the organisation of events

Requirements

* Minimum 9-12 months of BD or marketing experience. Preferably, within the legal, professional services or oil and gas industry.
* Excellent relationship building skills. The successful candidate should be able to interact with senior colleagues and partners.
* Close attention to detail and a strong ability to multitask.
* Excellent IT skills and the ability to work to your own initiative.
