Employment: Full Time

RMJM, is a well established architectural studio located in the Dubai Design District in the United Arab Emirates seeks a motivated and hands on Business Development / Bid Coordinator to join our talented team.

Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and work directly with the technical team of Directors, Bid Leaders, Business Development Manager and Team, Architects and Interior Designers to complete bids and tenders to client deadline. As part of this very important process you will communicate with external parties such as clients and sub?consultants to answer queries and obtain information.

This is a busy and rewarding role for an organized person.

The Role:
- Read and Interpret “Requests for Proposal” (RFP) received from clients
- Assemble company response – CVs, project sheets, letters – in collaboration with directors and the bid team
- Query requirements directly with client
- Liaison with sub?consultants that may join bidding team and manage the pre?qualification process for new companies
- Maintain database of enquiries received, response date and follow up actions
- Assemble all bid information materials as necessary and organize delivery to the client
- Work with the support team to ensure client hospitality and communication process is in line with the studio’s client focus
- Maintain records of all projects undertaken by RMJM in the Middle East
- Maintenance and creation of marketing collateral ? presentations, company brochures, project sheets and award submissions
- Proof?reading and error checking of bids before they go out

Requirements

- Confident use of Adobe InDesign and other graphic programmes will be highly regarded
- Graphic design skill and an eye for presentation of documents will be very useful
- Degree in Marketing, Business, Graphic Art, Architecture or Interior Design
- Fluent in written and spoken English

- Confident manner, able to make phone calls to clients/sub?consultants and write correspondence
- Able to work independently
- Patient and able to communicate with creative people, as well as internal and external parties at various career levels

- Hands on and able to prepare bid material from scratch and collate for delivery
- Flexible (occasionally deadlines will necessitate late working)
- Ability and confidence to learn, map and if necessary adapt or improve the studio’s bid process will be highly regarded

Candidates with proven experience in Business Development and Bid/Tender Management and Coordination from either the Support (Administrative) or Technical (Architectural / Interior Design/ Graphics) fields will be considered for the role.
