Job description / Role
We are currently looking to recruit a Western Business Development Consultant for a Professional Service company her in Dubai. They are looking for someone to manage and control the business development, implementation and client relationship function.
- Coordinate and prepare for client visits.
- Construct and deliver against the agreed business development plan and strategy.
- Arrange and prepare for client visits. Manage and develop a portfolio of prospects through building a strong customer relationship to ensure that the client’s needs are recognised and met.
- Develop and implement a consulting plan that incorporates initiatives for identifying and gaining new corporate business across all sectors.
- Promote the company brand image and values through own appearance and behaviour in order to maintain exceptional standards.
- Ensure that all data collected is inputted onto system.
- Understand the market, including competitor activity and government regulations.
- Position and enhance the company brand effectively within the marketplace.
- Attend networking events, exhibitions and relevant business meetings to increase brand awareness.
- Constantly seek out new opportunities for business growth using creative and innovative solutions.
- Weekly status report to the Head of Consulting.
- Represent the business at local government departments.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in consultancy/business development within the Middle East Region.
- Analytical approach to quickly assess client potential and requirements.
- Ability to understand all aspects of the business consulting process.
- PC skills, including Microsoft Office skills.
- UAE or international driving licence.
