Business Development Executive - Dubai
An established, global law firm is seeking a Business Development executive to join the team in Dubai. Reporting to the Practice Development Manager, this individual will be responsible for general business development support to partners and lawyers across the practices within the Middle East region.
The day‑to‑day job will additionally involve liaising with colleagues within the EMEA region as well as those in Asia and America. Overall, the role offers the opportunity to get involved in client management initiatives, research, internal and external communication and winning new work.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Leading on the preparation and co‑ordination of pitch documents, proposals and other marketing documents like brochures and client bulletins
* Managing the directory process and preparing the necessary submissions on an ongoing basis
* Providing support to the key and local client programs
* Assisting with the implementation of BD plans and practice initiatives
* Dealing with external and internal requests for information such as completing league tables
* Providing research on clients, prospects, competitors and the market
* Event management
* Ensuring that information systems such as details of pitches and current work, credentials, CV database and website are kept up‑to‑date.
Requirements
* Educated to at least degree level.
* Business Development or Marketing experience in the legal, professional services or oil and gas industry.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with members of the firm at all levels.
* Effective verbal and written communication.
* Diligent, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
