Job description / Role
Our client was established in Abu Dhabi in 2007 and is considered today as one of the fastest growing and most progressive law firms in the United Arab Emirates. Their offices are located in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, along with their wide network of correspondent offices in the Middle East, Europe and the USA.
Our client is currently looking for a Business Development Executive to assist with driving business for their UAE offices. You will work closely with the Managing Partner in forming a business development strategy, and ultimately be responsible for the compilation and execution of the strategy.
The key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Constructing and maintaining target client lists and client contact lists;
- Working on proposals for new business;
- Organising meetings/conference calls with new clients;
- Conducting research, market and client analysis as required;
- Supporting/chasing actions or progress on client targeting initiatives or client plans;
- Tracking competitor activities in the region;
- Promoting internal cross selling of the firm’s capabilities and identify key clients that may have business needs;
- Tracking and analysing markets trends and monitoring daily press and website news to keep partners / fee earners informed;
- Planning and co-ordinating internal communications and its increasing its profile in the wider firm;
- Coordinating sponsorship of, and participation in external conferences and organising internal client seminars;
- Organise client events and seminars;
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience working for a law firm within a Business Development capacity.
- You will ideally have experience from the UK, UAE or other international markets.
The successful BD executive must possess excellent written skills and be a confident communicator; happy interfacing with all fee earners from partners to associates.
- The ideal candidate must be driven, highly motivated and keen to progress their career within a well-respected firm.
