We are looking for experienced Business Development Executive professional from the Action Sports & Cycling industry to join our Brand/ Sales Team.

A new journey has started with the New Year for a Business Development Executive at Dubai Desert Extreme (DDE). Are you willing to be part of this Journey? Who are we? Based out of Dubai, we are the leading Action Sports, Lifestyle and cycling company in the region, we have embarked on an ambitious expansion program in our distribution business throughout the region. What are we looking for?


OVERVIEW:
- Define medium-term organizational strategic goals
- Build key customer relationships
- Identify business opportunities
- Negotiate and closes business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
- To work with the internal team, marketing staff, and other managers to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue.

Reports to: Head of Sales

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

New Business Development
- Prospect for potential new customers and turn this into increased business.
- Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
- Identify potential customers, and the decision makers within the customer organization
- Research and build relationships with new customers
- Plan approaches and pitches, Work with sales team to develop proposals that speaks to the customer’s needs, concerns, and objectives
- Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion

Business Development Planning
- Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends
- Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to source new brands and distribution channels
- Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
- Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the DDE’s unique selling propositions and differentiators

Requirements

- University Qualifications: Graduate
- Nature and length of previous experience: 2 years experience in Sales or Business Development
- Specialist knowledge: Cycling, Outdoor Sports

Soft Skills and Personality traits:
Excellent Selling skills, knowledge of strategic account planning, well versed with analytical reporting
