Job description / Role
A UAE based business in the fashion and media arena, with a number of market-leading clients are currently looking for a Business Development Executive to sell their fashion, lifestyle and hospitality services to local and international businesses.
As Business Development Generator you will be selling services across a leading portfolio of businesses. A proven track record within the Events, Fashion/luxury goods or Media sectors is essential.
You would be driving the sales agenda and taking ownership of, and securing new contracts.
Business Development
- Defining the sales strategy alongside the GM and Group S&M Director
- Developing the customer base from cold through to close
- Qualifying, gaining sales appointments and developing sales pipeline
- Presenting the corporate offering and image to the client – Engaging presentation skills
- Finding new revenue streams, developing partnerships, writing proposals
Lead Generation
- Telephone/web research;
- Developing or contributing to proposals or campaigns;
- Networking at functions
- Attending promotional events
Requirements
- B2B corporate sales experience (4 + years)
- Confident and articulate
- Passion for the fashion and events marketplaces would be an advantage
- Stable career path
- Driven to succeed and able to perform in a targeted environment
- Flawlessly presented
- Fluent English Essential
- Arabic also an advantage
