Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Work with and expand current prospect database within specified business sectors to generate effective leads & exceed sales targets for the business.
- Develop a sales contact plan direct marketing, and attending industry events to build relationships with key prospects.
- Work closely with Marketing to identify appropriate go to market messaging for specific business sectors.
- Establish rapport and build credibility with Commercial and Business Banking partners in order to gain introductions to senior level client company.
- Sell products and services to prospective clients.

Requirements

- Has done DIRECT SALES.
- Has an extensive background in products such as cards, loans or mortgages.
- At least 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Works under general supervision but can stand alone and do the job.
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
- Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
