Business Development Manager - Dubai

An established law firm is seeking a Business Development Manager to join the team in Dubai. Reporting to the Business Development director, this individual will plan and lead incisive and value-added business development initiatives in line with the Firms strategy, ensuring key objectives in the business plans are achieved.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Manage regional strategic bids, draft, create, review and edit content; manage document development where necessary; ensure adherence to branding requirements; ensure adherence to pricing procedures.
* Act as the practice ambassador for bid best practice in the Middle East to ensure understanding and compliance of the bid process.
* Develop high quality focused materials for use in bids to convey positioning, experience and sales messages to clients and targets.
* Direct and manage the BD Executive in order to support the lawyers with local bid production.
* Analyse win/lose rates and make recommendations as to how to improve performance.
* Maintain awareness of relevant global and local marketing products which can be used for client development.
* Seeks opportunities to drive cross-office and region collaboration to increase efficiencies and speed to market.
* Responsible for the management and reporting of relevant expenditure/budgets.
* Work with the communications team and the PR team to develop the practice's profile in the Middle East.
* Systematically measure performance in league tables and directories.
* Ensure the brand is up to date and compliant and delivers consistent materials and collateral to the market.

Requirements

* Graduate calibre (preferably marketing and communications discipline).
* Minimum 4-5 years' experience marketing and business development experience within the legal, professional services or oil and gas industry.
* Excellent project management skills and relationship building skills.
* Strong communication skills and high attention to detail.
