Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Responsible for developing new business for the store with agreed upon targets.
- Finding new and managing existing clients for Villas, Commercial space, & Hotels.
- Target new projects that are about to open and see how we can collaborate together.
- Participate in any exhibition that will attract new business for the store.
- Create, manage and develop clientele database.
- Implement overall sales strategy as per business plans with agreed upon targets.
- Prepare plans for the brand under own purview in order to achieve accurate forecasts, budgeted sales and profitability.
- Analyse and interpret trends and capitalize on data to maximize sales and profit.
- Contribute to the brand marketing strategy and plan measurable cost effective advertising and promotional campaigns / activities ensuring adherence to budgets.
- Conduct regular competitor store visits to review competition prices and new trends.
- Study market trends and consumer preferences to understand and specify customer expectations and adopt a suitable approach for brand management.
- Keep abreast of developments in style trends in the region and internationally. Maintain intelligence tab on market information and customer data.
- Responsible for personal and professional development of line managers to achieve high levels of individual and team performance.
- Must consult with CEO for any kind of expense or spend.

Requirements

- A degree or equivalent qualification is recommended, but a proven background in business development may be sufficient.
- A proven track record in strong presentation skills is essential in the role of Business Developer.
- Business Developers need a strong track record of business-to-business sales at a corporate level.
- A Business Developer will need to have strong research and strategic analysis skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and be able to cold call potential clients with confidence are key for a successful Business developer.
- Business Developers need to be skilled at agreeing and closing deals with clients.
- Excellent organisational skills are essential as well as performance monitoring will be a requirement.
- Must be able to operate Microsoft Office and associated programs.
- Must hold a full clean driving licence.
