Our client, a leading organisation in Dubai, is currently looking for a Business Development Manager - Afghanistan & New Markets to join their growing team.

As a Business Development Manager for Afghanistan and New Markets, your key responsibility is to drive the performance of the business in two ways; firstly by winning new contracts and pushing into new markets, and secondly by ensuring contracts and projects deliver or exceed expectations.

You will be responsible for all commercial activities of the region including leading commercial business, key account management and sales force. You will be based in Dubai but are required to travel to Afghanistan and African countries and therefore need to be able to travel freely.

Requirements

Ideal candidate for this role must have a degree in Business/International Studies, 3 years’ solid business development experience in security or relevant industry, specific business development experience in Afghanistan, Africa and/or Middle East, and has a strong network or the ability to tap into security networks, PSC expertise would be advantageous.

Key skills required include: fluency in English, military background desired but not essential, effective communication and organizational skills, target oriented and persistent, self-motivated and eager to develop new markets, applications and customers, knowledge of the socio-cultural features of the MENA region, sound presentation skills, willingness to travel.
