Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager / Account Managers to join their team in Dubai, Media City.

The purpose of this role is to implement the Sales Strategy within his/her account (s) thru developing an Account Plan to achieve the business (booking, revenue and profitability), account management and efficiency objectives, while maintaining highest customer satisfaction and representing the companies image and professionalism.

Primary Responsibility:
- Ensure the achievement of his quarter objectives
- Implement a “Sales Strategy” (Account, Solution Layer and Product-mix)
- Account Management thru Acquisition, Development and Retention at high customer satisfaction
- Commercial positioning of solutions, services and company System Integration capabilities
- Proactively manage partners’ commercial relationships for the scope of the opportunities.
- Ensure appropriate information flow and participation of all stakeholders in all meetings related to account management
- Ensure that the content within any proposal or contract is technically and financially valid.
- Lead the process and coordinate the production of proposals and drives the sales cycle from identification, qualification, engagement, to closing with visibility on delivery & customer follow up.
- Keep an ongoing relationship with his team members at all levels in order to verify and support the implementation of pre-defined plans and guidelines
- Develop and maintain relationships with senior level customer managers and ensure joint efforts are vested and an Account Development Plan is produced for his account (s)
- Monitor Sales Project to ensure pipeline, bookings and revenues are on track with quarter targets, and where deficient initiate and support GAP Closure plans
- Reviewing Sales Project to determine data accuracy and weekly update of listed opportunities
- Identifying opportunities to up sell layers / cross sell vendor products in bids to ensure offering business value has been considered, thru each proposal
- Reviewing closed / lost sales to write “Lessons Learnt” to share and use to improve next deal.
- Managing Service Contract Renewals database and ensure contracts coming due are analyzed for possible value added services which would be targeted during negotiation phase by the relevant Account Manager
- Liaising with Sales Manager for market feedback on Product Development needs
- Liaising with Sales Manager for Marketing development of product sales kits and the communication / co-ordination of product launches needed for his/her relevant account (s)
- Ensure order submissions with proper margins, payment terms and delivery timeframes
- Coordinate with Sales Manager for identification of participants to create a “Virtual Bid Team” structure both across sales teams and support functions
- Liaise with Sales Manager to ensure he/she receives needed training to sell the range of products and services and to address Knowledge Gaps
- Ensure your efficiency objectives are achieved through discipline and perseverance

General Responsibility:
- Adhere to the company policies, ethics, values, practices and the UAE Laws
- Be flexible and undertake other duties which may be assigned by managers.
- Participate as an effective team player.
- Promote the company brand and display professionalism in dealing with internal and external customers.
- Be productive and contribute to achieving the company goals
- Actively seek and understand company priorities through the various internal communication channels.

Working Relationships and Contacts:

Internal
- Commercial Organization Account teams / Team Managers, Technical Sales
- Support, Marketing, Finance and Accounting, Professional Services, After Sales
- Delivery, Customer Services Organization

External
- Customer’s Senior Level Contacts (C-Level, Directors, VPs, Senior VPs, etc.)
- Vendor Commercial Relationship Management, nxn 3rd party supplier, Industry association and
- consulting firms within the sector

Requirements

- Should have between 5 - 6 years experience in a similar role.
- Should have a sales background working in telecoms, ICT or both.
- Be able to speak and write Arabic fluently.
- Be able to work well in a team.
- Have universal strengths in ICT, Telecoms and Sales.
- Passport should allow you to travel freely to Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
- Have excellent communication and presentation skills.
