European based manufacturing group seeks a Business Development Manager based in Tehran to oversee the Iranian market

Working within a retained and exclusive partnership, Focus Management International has recently been engaged by a world class manufacturing leader to secure a high calibre Business Development Manager to be based in Tehran, Iran and oversee the Iran market.

This is a true helicopter level, strategic role whereby you will be responsible for full market assessment, strategic business formulisation and tactical deployment whilst advising and guiding the business operations with predominant focus on the FMCG, F&B and Pharmaceutical industries.

You will demonstrate exceptionally strong networking and relationship building skills and will hold specific understanding of how to operate and conduct business effectively within Iran. You will be comfortable working within the pace of the region and ideally be able to communicate across multiple languages with fluency of writing, speaking & reading English being essential. This role is business critical and reports into the General Manager for the Middle East region. This will be the businesses first venture into Iran so you will hold total responsibility for business directives.

Your career experience will be built from a strong educational platform and we would be particularly interested in speaking to candidates who have an engineering, mechanical or manufacturing biased degree.
