Employment: Full Time

Client is looking for a Business Development Manager to prospect for new corporate partners, the business to business arm of my client. Networking, cold calling and working with the BDMs in our other offices for warm introductions to potential partners in territory. Both the staff and the clients of these companies are your targets.

- Prospect for potential new clients and turn them into incremental business in order to meet individual and team sales targets.
- Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
- Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization in order to maximize all opportunities and “go deeper and wider” with each client.
- Research and build relationships with new clients.
- Plan approaches and pitches, including pricing the solution and presenting the final proposal to clients.
- Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
- Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
- Negotiate and close deals, and handles the post-sale administrative process with accuracy and timely follow up.
- Client Retention
- Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
- Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
- Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs

Requirements

- 10 years’ of B2B sales experience, B2B sales is a must.
- Degree in the sales field or related
- Positive attitude towards team-working, problem solving and building relationships
- Well networked – must have a strong book of B2B decision-making contacts
- Organised, hungry for success and target oriented, must be motivated to make sales and to make a mark in territory
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to identify and resolve customers’ needs and challenges
- An ability to get things done - comfortable with targets, deadlines and making things happen
- IT literate around PCs and Microsoft Packages as well as a solid understanding of Salesforce
- Strong communication skills in English required (Written and Verbal)
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic
- Willingness to travel overseas
