Business Development & Marketing Manager - Dubai
An international law firm is seeking a Business Development & Marketing Manager to join the team in Dubai. This person will be responsible for initiating and implementing the Business Development, Marketing and Communications for the firm.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Ensure that Middle East office and practice groups are integrated in global communications and business development projects
* Work with members of the central marketing team to develop, monitor and report on key practice development initiatives and ROI.
* Encourage best practice behaviours across all offices in the region with regards to use of the firm's systems.
* Engage and take part in cross-office/cross-practice marketing activities
* Support Middle East Partners on business development requirements, including pitch responses, client research, targeting campaigns and research analysis
* Draft high impact value-add pitch, and capability documents.
* Work with the Head office Business Development team to devlop best practice processes and knowledge sharing, including regular reporting of business development activities and ROI.
* Lead and deliver an incisive and value-adding market awareness strategy for the firm in the region
* Develop and implement appropriate integrated marketing communications campaigns either by office, jurisdiction or across the region
* Deliver major firm events in the region
* Manage and deliver Middle East office and practice group specific events
* Work with the partners and fee earners in the region to improve the use of Bulletins and Briefings, which should be produced in line with the firm wide brand guidelines
* Manage the Middle East directory submission process
* Coordinate distribution of firm publications
* Manage external agencies in the Middle East region
Requirements
* Graduate degree or equivalent in related field.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a Marketing and Business Development role. Preferably, within the legal, accountancy or oil and gas sector.
* Proactive individual with excellent organisation/project management skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills including oral/written communications.
* Ability to work on own initiative, show innovation and develop projects
