Charterhouse is working with a highly reputational design consultancy that is looking for a Business Development Officer to join their Dubai based team. Our clients are looking to hire an experienced Business Development professional due to their recent expansion across the GCC and MENA.

The Role of Business Development Officer will require you to work closely with the Managing Director here in Dubai and liaise closely with the consultancies head-office in Europe.
Furthermore, this senior position will require you to generate new projects by developing and maintaining relationships with existing and or new clients and consultants in and around the GCC and MENA.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the offices business development efforts and supporting its higher-level strategy. In addition, you’ll be asked to expand your network, management, and professional capabilities through participation in professional organisations as identified and approved by the Managing Director. You’ll be responsible for proactively providing business development progress reports to the team in Dubai and working closely with the Business Development team in Europe.

Requirements

The successful candidate should hold a bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and have at least 5 years’ experience as a Business Development Officer within an international architect design consultancy. The incumbent will have a proven track record of designing global business development strategies in order to win multi-million-dollar architectural projects, utilizing your network and connections in the most effective manner.

The selected candidate will be fluent English and have strong communication skills, both written and verbal. You must also have extensive knowledge of MS Office and Adobe CS.
