Business Head - Healthcare Industry

Job description / Role

On behalf of our client a leading specialist healthcare facililty that has 75 hospitals in India and Africa we are looking to recruit the following;  
Location: Dubai

- Will be responsible for the p&l of all hospitals under the region and a sole point of contact for making any managerial decision
- Work closely with all CXO level to prepare annual budgets, complete analysis on potential growth, and advise the Board of Directors with regards to new business ideas and initiatives to be taken
- Develop high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives
- Oversee day to day operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with growth
- Make high-quality investing decisions to advance the business and work on the cost structures to increase EBITDA and profits
- Review financial and non-financial reports with each center heads every month to devise solutions or improvements and conduct quarterly review meeting to ensure that each center is aligned to the yearly business targets
- Analyze problematic situations and occurrences, provide solutions and ensure there is a smooth relation between each team
- Build trust relations with key partners and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for important decisions and strategic initiatives
- Maintain a deep knowledge of the industry and market competition on their technological advancement and try to incorporate the best activities of the industry into our system
- Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company's legality and business ethics

Requirements

The successful candidate must demonstrate the following

P&L focused strong understanding of cost structures and profitability
Ability to take and drive decisions and create a balance among the management and doctor team
Leadership, problem solving, communication skills, negotiation and deal closing abilities
Data focused decision making, good with setting up MIS/review processes, ability to use analytics for nuanced decision making
Ability to network with Doctors, corporates and open structured channels of growth
