Job description / Role
Job Purpose
• Lead a Team of Country Finance Heads (Managers) across the globe to maintain true and correct picture of financial state of affairs for each country business and ensuring the country finance team is maintaining necessary Books of Accounts
• Records and MIS System so as to generate Reports and Returns in conformity with the Accounting Standards in force locally as well as IFRS.
• Also develop suitable control mechanism of Checks and Balances to report the deviations in working immediately.
Requirements
Candidate profile
• In-depth knowledge of all aspects of F&A, Costing & planning in an FMCG / Foods factory environment.
• Good knowledge of International Accounting Practices and Commercial Laws and its implication on Operations.
Skills:
• Excellent Oral & Written Communication in English – Knowledge of any foreign language shall be a plus.
• Analytical Skills to resolve Problems and Better Decision Making.
• Good in Planning & Coordination for adherence to deadlines.
• Negotiation Skills across Financial Institutions, Legal Authorities, Suppliers, Debtors & Creditors.
• Leadership Skills to be able to keep the Country teams motivated despite all odds.
Qualification profile:
• CA, MBA Finance with about 15 to 20 yrs. of work experience in an environment as suited to our requirements.
