Business Operations Manager, OFC

Job description / Role

The Business Operations Manager will be responsible for the monthly financial management reporting, managing P&L forecast process as well as managing the Business Plan and mid-term Plan processes

Main Responsibilities
- Pricing for model and non-model business in the Caspian region
- Support tender process with identifying right cost structure, business cases and sensitivity analysis
- Support Account Operating Profitability analysis and recommend improvement opportunities
- Assist in monthly close process by ensuring accuracy of accruals and overall business results
- P&L monthly actual vs. business plan, vs. prior year and vs. prior forecast and other insightful analysis (eg. gross margin by customers/products)
- Perform quality of earnings analysis/one-timers tracking
- Support preparation of monthly Business Reviews
- Drive the quarterly forecast process with the business districts to ensure consistent approach towards forecasting and facilitate understanding of business performance
- Provide monthly P&L Risks & Opportunities analysis vs. forecast
- Support preparation of forecast review presentation
- Drive the 5-year mid-term plan and annual business plan processes with multiple stakeholders
- Ensure consistent approach in planning & provide guidance to the business districts
- Closely track and control the entire process from initial target setting phase to plan finalization in BI/BPC systems

Requirements

- Four-year college degree in Finance or Accounting, preferable. If undergraduate studies are not in finance, a graduate level education in finance - MBA, CPA or equivalent is desired
- 6 - 10 years work experience, with at least 3 years focused in business operations, commercial finance or forecasting, planning, and financial management reporting in multinational companies/regional roles
- People management experience is a plus
- Big 4 or Blue Chip background
- Excellent English mandatory, other languages a plus
- A high impact individual comfortable working with strong executive management

- Excellent communicator
- Competence in US GAAP an advantage
