ADNOC Distribution markets, sells, and distributes transportation fuel to both retail and commercial customers. We also run non-fuel services at our service stations.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Communications Business Partner collaborates with management in order to enable measurable difference in employee focus and increase productivity. They formulate key partnerships across the business to facilitate the delivery of value-added communications services to management and employees that reflect the business values and objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- The Communications Business Partner also provides project management Communications initiatives. As part of the Communications department, they ensure the close connection with the business to deliver consistent and aligned communications plans.
- The Communications Business Partner is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. He or she acts as a strategic Communications resource.
- He or She is continuously listening to departmental issues and challenges, initiatives and ideas to support in delivering key communications deliverables and driving the business forward.

Relationships
- Tasked with maintaining healthy relationships across the business department and back to the main communications hub. In this capacity, they conduct regular meetings with the various business departments, builds, and develops trusted relationships with the various departmental leaderships.
- The communications Business Partner also takes initiative and provides informal leadership and mentorship to less experienced communications professionals within the business where he acts as the program/process leader for various communications initiatives, for example, crisis management, media training and strategy
- Provide with expert consultation on Communication policies and updates, single point of contact on all Communication related matters to the Leaders of a designated business unit / function, participating in the business unit /functional meetings, activities, etc. and provide with the needful advise on Communication Matters
- Work as a change agent, and a focal point, aligning business objectives strategy to Communications strategy with employees and management, assessing and anticipating Communications-related needs.
- Maintain an effective level of business literacy about the company's financial position; plans; culture; demographics and engagement levels and work with the business to define and refine plans impacting our people and customers.
- Recommend and advise on communications to ensure meeting the targeted change management and communication plans

Business partnership
- Works directly with ADNOC Distribution senior leadership to develop and direct a Communications agenda that closely supports organizational goals
- Act as a Communications internal adviser who works with the Communications team and the units managers for building relationships and providing resources and advising on the Communications strategy, orientation and best practices
- Act as a strategic business partner that can offer recommendations, participate in making decisions, and carrying out the Communications general goals.
- Collaborates with the Communications department while consulting the executive team on Communications issues and initiatives that affects the people and the organization.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Discipline, Business Administration or equivalent.
- 5-7 years of experience in Communications, in-house communication teams or agency.
- Analytical and Communication skills; Financial Literacy and the ability to use Communications systems.
