Business Solution Architect - Al-Futtaim Enterprise IT - Dubai, UAE

We are currently looking to recruit a Business Solution Architect to join our Enterprise IT team based in our Dubai office.

In this role, you will help in selection of technologies and solutions for business and will be the liaison between project teams and Enterprise Architecture. You will be involved in mapping of the current architecture and defining to-be solution architecture across projects and programs, partnering with business analysts, system analysts and engineers in requirement gathering and reviews, translating business, information and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint that outlines solutions to achieve business objectives, working with enterprise architecture, application and infrastructure teams to produce optimal, high level, conceptual designs, developing enterprise level solutions that integrate across applications, systems and platforms, proposing changes in process, policy and standards as they relate to the architecture and design principles, and researching and maintaining knowledge in emerging technologies and solutions to solve business problems.

You are expected to function in a fast paced technology environment which is highly competitive. The field is constantly changing so you will be expected to keep updated on the various changes in IT technologies, systems and tools that are available. The main challenge is to develop technology solutions for business in a fast, cost efficient manner, while preserving the integrity of the Group's architecture.

Requirements

The minimum requirement for this role is a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, at least 7-8 years in multiple IT areas and 3-5 years of relevant architecture and project management experience.

Advanced to expert level knowledge and understanding of architecture, application design, systems engineering and integration. You should be skilled in designing, coding, testing, and implementing configuration changes to software applications to meet both functional and technical requirements.

Prior experience in the HR, Finance or Real Estate and Engineering industry will be an added advantage.
