Job description / Role
Our client a large regional organisation who represent a number of global retail Brands are currently looking for a Buyer to come and join their team in Dubai.
This role will be working within part of their lingerie company and requires the candidate to have experience within lingerie purchasing previously. My client will consider overseas applicants for this role also.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Suppliers
- Negotiate with new suppliers
- Work with the distribution team to consolidate shipments
- Negotiate on MOQ’s (minimum order quantities) and lead times with suppliers to ensure months cover of the department is within the agreed level.
- Ensure the department sales are achieved as per target and focusing to grow the department over previous financial year.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Between 3-6 years of work experience, including as Buyer in a retail organization (Lingerie).
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office and presentation skills
- Able to manage complex or large projects
- Proactively contributes to strategic planning
- Operates independently
- Assertive
