Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Buyer - Toys R Us - Regional Office, Dubai Festival City

As part of the Buying team, you will be responsible for supporting the sales team and providing execution and merchandising plan of products in the assigned categories to achieve maximum profitability and growth in line with the company vision and values.

You strike an effective balance between short term and long term initiatives and responds constructively to new demands, priorities and challenges.

You will also supervise the Buyer Assistants and ensures feedback from customers and the business environment to identify improvement opportunities and company initiatives.

Requirements

To be considered for the role, you must have 7-10 years of experience in Toys Buying/Merchandising. You must have a strong enthusiasm and interest in toy retailing and highly developed merchandising and buying knowledge, effective communication skills, strategic planning and analytical skills and advanced skills in MS Excel.
