Morgan McKinley has been engaged by an educational body in Abu Dhabi to assist them in recruiting an Associate Director to run their Campus Services.

The Associate Director will be responsible for the overall management, supervision, planning and efficient operations of the Campus Services Department. The client is a federal government organisation and due to Emiritisation, they require a UAE national with family documents.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage:
* Travel Services unit to ensure optimum services to clients while managing resources to ensure that outsourcing of transport is minimum.
* Contract Services for food services and convenience stores.
* Oversee all major events

Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting:
* Responsible for the planning and budgeting process
* Manage the planning and logistics for major events ensuring profitability.

Vendor Management:
* Work closely with vendors to ensure they meet the required standards of service
* Liaise with the client and supplier/vendor communities to ensure services are delivered in the most efficient way.

Team Management:
* Organize and control the activities of the team to ensure efficient operations and service delivery.
* Participate in the hiring process for departmental staff.
* Manage the training and development of the team and carry out the annual performance evaluation

Requirements

The Associate Director will be responsible for the overall management, supervision, planning and efficient operations of the Campus Services Department. They require at least 12 years experience in the hospitality management sector.

* Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Business / Management /Hospitality
* Master's degree is preferred
* 12+ years experience in the hospitality management sector including 7 years of management/supervisory experience
* UAE national with family documents
* Fluency in English
* Ability to travel between Abu Dhabi and Dubai
* Demonstrated expertise in event management/operations as well as sales and business development
* Commercial acumen and ability to gather and analyze market data
